Be Known For Your Kindness and Grace

Updated: Apr 16, 2020

We all are here for a reason. We are here to serve God and spread the Gospel so that everybody can get a chance to know Jesus Christ and be saved.

I honestly wish everybody could go to Heaven but it’s not all up to me.

Speaking about God is getting harder since people are scared of the name of the Christ but it shouldn’t be a reason for us to show a bad example of what our faith means.

I don’t think making people feel guilty about the aftermath of life is a good way to have them turning to God. You can make them question where they will spend their eternity without telling them they will go to hell. You surely do not want them to get defensive and have a negative picture of what a walk with Christ is like.

Moreover, using shame is not my thing either. By doing so, you undermine them and put yourself on a pedestal as you talk down to them.

Be a teacher, not a bully. Take the time to show, take the time to explain and don't hesitate to share your personal experiences when it comes to your faith. Be reliable and relatable.

Also, be humble and gentle at heart because at some point of time in your life, you didn’t know either. Be an example that people would want to follow. If you are mean, haughty, judgmental, you will probably not succeed in producing the change you want to see in others.

Be known for your kindness and grace.

“May the LORD now show you kindness and faithfulness, and I too will show you the same favor because you have done this.” – 2 Samuel 2:6
